About My Work
I am a freelance ghostwriter with extensive experience in creative nonfiction and memoir writing. I also offer editing services for completed manuscripts and trauma-informed memoir coaching.
What does this mean?
Writing is my passion, and I want to help you share your story.
Everyone has a story to tell: it may be a love story, a story of overcoming obstacles/trauma, or even your life story that you want to share with family and friends.
No one has a story like yours—unique and powerful. Everyone’s story is important and deserves to be heard.
Why Your Story Matters to Me
Several years ago, I suffered a traumatic brain injury that caused me to lose almost all of my childhood memories. Ever since, I’ve worked to heal and regain much of what I lost. What I couldn’t get back were all of those memories, and that’s what fuels my passion: I don’t want anyone’s story to be forgotten, especially in a world where all stories can be preserved and live on forever.
I know the value of memories and stories, and I want you to understand just how important your story is.
As humans, we often take for granted that we can always tell our stories and that we’ll always have plenty of time to do so. But here’s the truth: you shouldn’t wait until you’re facing the end of your life to recount all of your experiences. You’re never too young or too old to share your story.
Now is the perfect time to begin. And the beauty of life? Your story can (and will) change over the years, but it will always be yours.
You will never regret taking the time to write your story now. But your loved ones may regret not hearing it in your voice and from your point of view after you’re gone or are no longer able to share it yourself.
So what are you waiting for?
How I Work
The best part about preserving your story is that we’ll do it in a way that feels natural and authentic to you. We’ll have conversations, and you can share as much or as little as you wish.
You’ll have the final say in the editing process and the last word on what gets published. You don’t need to worry about spilling family secrets or exposing anything you’d rather keep private; I will never pry or force you to share anything that you’re uncomfortable with including. Everything we discuss will also be kept completely confidential unless you give me explicit permission to share our raw discussions with anyone else.
I work with people of all kinds and from all walks of life, creating a safe space where everyone can feel valued, respected, and heard.
By working to mitigate some of the barriers in the world of writing and publishing, I hope to help more people “take up space” in the literary landscape. My goal is to ensure that personal histories, stories, and unique perspectives can be heard, celebrated, and preserved.
Your story is an important gift, not only for those you love, but for anyone who sees themselves reflected in your experiences and challenges.
About Me
I’m a passionate and experienced ghostwriter, memoir editor, and trauma-informed memoir coach who believes that everyone has a story to tell and that all stories deserve to be heard.
I love good food, good friends, and meaningful conversations. Sometimes, though, I need solitude and quiet time to recharge my “social battery.” (The joys of being an introvert at heart.)
My dog is the center of my world.
In my free time, I enjoy reading tarot, making myself at home in libraries and bookstores, and spending many of my Saturdays playing Dungeons & Dragons with good friends.
Because of my past, my mission is to preserve the authenticity and wonderful memories that you’ve had throughout your life. As a trauma-informed writer and coach, though, am also equipt to help guide you through the difficult moments in your story while providing a safe and supportive environment to share without the fear of any repercussions or judgement.
Thank you for trusting me with your story; I know nothing is more valuable.
